Your Coffee Run Just Got an Upgrade
Orange County is no stranger to trying something new, but this might be one of the coolest concepts I've seen in a while.
The new Starbucks E-Station in Costa Mesa is officially open, and yes, you can grab your favorite drink while your car charges.
With 11 EV charging stations, this Starbucks was designed around the way people actually live, work, and travel today. You can plug in your car, order your coffee, catch up on some work, and head out with both your caffeine and your battery fully recharged.
Honestly, this is not your average Starbucks run.
More Than Just a Starbucks
What makes this location even more interesting is the story behind it.
The Starbucks E-Station is a licensed Starbucks owned and operated by the fourth-generation family behind the Ford dealership next door. Together, they've created a unique, flagship-style experience that brings together coffee, technology, modern design, and EV convenience.
The space also showcases some of Starbucks' newer technology and customer-focused concepts.
It's clear that this location was designed to be more than just a place where you grab a coffee and leave.
It's a place where you can stop, recharge, work, meet up, and then get back on the road.
We Got a Behind-the-Scenes Look
We had the chance to meet the store manager, Ben, who gave us a tour of the space and shared more about the story behind this exciting concept.
The team was incredibly welcoming, and you can really feel the thought that went into creating the experience.
From the layout to the technology and EV charging stations, everything feels designed around convenience.
It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer than you originally planned.
A New Kind of Orange County Destination
Whether you're an EV owner, someone who works remotely, a serious coffee enthusiast, or just someone who loves checking out what's new around Orange County, this is definitely a spot worth visiting.
And I think that's what makes places like this so fun to discover.
Orange County is constantly evolving. New restaurants, neighborhoods, businesses, and experiences continue to pop up, giving us more reasons to get out and explore.
And concepts like this Starbucks E-Station are a perfect example of how everyday places are being reimagined.
